Why nitrogen gas?
Nitrogen makes up most of the air we breathe, but in a cylinder it's valuable because it is dry and inert: it doesn't burn, doesn't support burning and doesn't react with most materials. That makes it the safe choice wherever you need to push out air and moisture, test for leaks or protect a product.

Nitrogen safety
- Always use a pressure regulator. A full cylinder is at very high pressure. Never connect a nitrogen cylinder directly to an AC unit, pipeline or tyre without one.
- Nitrogen can suffocate without warning. It has no smell or colour. Use it in ventilated areas and never release it in a closed room, pit or tank where people are working.
- Keep cylinders upright and secured, with the valve cap on during transport.
Questions about nitrogen gas
Can I use oxygen instead of nitrogen for AC pressure testing?
Never. Oxygen can react violently with oil inside compressors and pipes. Use dry nitrogen, with a regulator, for pressure testing and flushing.
Do AC technicians in Kurnool buy nitrogen from you?

Is nitrogen gas flammable?
