What is medical air?
Medical air is clean, dry, oil-free air made to a medical standard for patient use. Large hospitals often produce it on site with compressor plants, but cylinders are widely used by smaller hospitals and nursing homes, and as a backup when the plant is down for maintenance.

Is medical air the same as compressed air?
No. Industrial compressed air can contain oil, moisture and particles. Medical air is made and tested for patient use. Don't substitute one for the other.
